Two Karthi movies will be released for this pongal
There is an interesting controversy is brewing up in the tamil industry, like a tie between two Karthi Sivakumar’s films – ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ and ‘Paiya’.
First came producer R Raveendran with ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ announcing the movie as a Pongal release; followed by Lingusamy with ‘Paiya’. Thus forming a tough market competition for the festival. Now it seems both the parties are not willing to step back, as they have their own solid reasons to justify the movies’ releases.

A few days back producer R Raveendran said his long in the making Selvaraghavan directed Aayirathil Oruvan will release for Pongal. A couple of day’s later producer and director Lingusamy has announced that his Karthi- Tamannaah starrer Paiyya will also release for Pongal!
